Hey MATE!

A simple example should be able to clear this doubt.

A professional Tennis player can serve at speeds over 200 kmph while 150 kmph is considered to be very fast in cricket.

Now, switch the balls. You can hit a Tennis ball travelling at 200 kmph with a cricket bat with absolute ease but when you try hitting a Cricket ball at 150 kmph with a Tennis racket…

A Cricket ball is heavier and harder. My advice would be to not try catching a cricket ball .

Hope it helps

It is easy to stop a tennis ball than a cricket ball moving with the same speed. Why?

It is easier to stop a tennis ball than a cricket ball moving with the same speed because the momentum of cricket ball will be higher than the tennis ball as the mass of the cricket ball is more than tennis ball.

Therefore, less force is required to stop the tennis ball when compared to the cricket ball.
