Traditional methods were wasting a lot of water.......and there was not too much water that rime to waste...
New and irrigational methods are wasting less water than traditional methods...
There are mainly two methods of irrigation...
1. Sprinkler system
2. Drip system
In sprinkler system, water falls on crop like it is raining.... and in drip system water goes directly into the roots...which also helps in conservation of water....
