Flammable substances burns or explodes if the are exposed to air [i..e oxygen] or other oxidant in the presence of any source of ignition if there is an increase in temperature the kinetic energy between the atoms increase which tend it to explode and also these inflammable gasses are corrosive and lethal in nature .
