Why it is instructed not to stand at the upper deck of a double decker bus

The upper deck is itself in a higher position. Since the bus will not be that wide, the centre of mass lies at the central region of the bus. If we stand in the upper deck, due to our weight the centre of mass shifts upward which may make the bus topple around when making a turn. So it is not advised.
