It is more comfortable to wear light colored clothes as light colors absorb less heat as compared to dark colored clothes.Thus dark colored clothes makes us feel hot whereas light colored clothes are preferred.

We wear white on light colour clothes in summer because light colours reflect heat , so we don't feel hot . Dark coloured clothes absorb more heat so we wear them in winter.
