ploughing turn the soil loosen it and increase its fertility . Loose soil is porous ,well aerated and holds more water. Roots of a plant can penetrate deep into the lose soil and breath easily in it . Humus and nutrients present in the lower layers is brought to the tope layers of soil during ploughing.
