Why it is necessary to take rh factor in blood of pregnant woman?

as rh factor play an important role which determining the health of growing foetus. there is a term called HDN ( haemolytic disease of newly born) in which mother is rh-ve while foetus is rh+ve...if this two rh interact it will lead to clumping in subsequent pregnancy and will lead to death of foetus

the positivity and negativity of the rh factor in blood is an important thing in case of pregnant woman.there is major issue when mother have -ve rh & child have +ve rh factor.If this situation is when having first child, child is safe.but,this nonmatch is saved by mother's body. next time they got pregnant,body remind the situation and foetus will die.to prevent this situation there are tests and now Anti injunctions are developed.
