Why it is not advisable to give excess water for water plants?

HEy there!!

Plants need water to live, but, if we supply them with excess water, the plant die. The roots live under the soil, the roots too need oxygen to live. There are tiny pores in the soil that has air. The water covers all these pores making the roots uanble to get air. Root are the vital part of the plant. If the roots des, the plants die. And also, if the root still has air, plants will need vital minerals, the minerals get wiped off by the exceess water, with out vital minerals, plant dies.

because by giving excess water plants become turgid which damages their cells and also minerals gets dissolved with water which go down deep into earth so these minerals are not easily accessible to plants
