A synthetic material which can be easily moulded into any desired shape on heating is called a \textbf{plastic}.

Synthetic plastic don't not completely destroyed pn burning. During burning they produce poisnous fumes. Thus burning of plastic causes severe air pollution. So it is not advised to burn a plastic or synthetic fibres.
