The equal and opposite reaction occurs inside the car itself when we try to push the car from inside.

  • For a motion to occur, there is a need for an equal and opposite reaction.
  • When we push on the car from inside the car, the reaction force of pushing is balanced out by our body moving backwards,
  • And eventually, the seat behind us pushes against the dash to bring the car to a static position.
