ans)It is not proper to say HCl(gas) as hydro - chloric acid because an acid is formed when a soluble acidic non-metal or a soluble acidic gas is passed through or dilluted with water. Where as Hydrogen Chloride gas is formed when hydrogen chloride is heated and this gas which is acidic in nature when passed through water then it becomes hcl acid.
