To demonstrate respiration in green plants , it is preferable to keep them in a dark room , where there is no source of light like sun.

1.take a plant pot
2.at one leaf keep black tape
3.keep the plant for few days in sunlight
4.then keep the plant for few days in darkness
5.then remove the black tape and observe
6.you will observe that except the place where the black tape was kept that place is in different colour than others.
