Why it is said that acquired traits are not iheritable?

Bcoz acquired traits are not passed to next generation... These traits are not changes in the dna of gametes so they are not inherited....

because these are learned in a person's life time not by generation. for example the kid of a MMA fighter will not be knowing any fighting skill as it not a inheritable trait .
