Actually it was not discoverd it was used in every phase of life in early ages erly mans count number of bones ,stones etc moving on to next part its name was kept maths because it was derived from a greek word 'mathma' means knowledge and 'etics' means number
U can say that it was discovered by early mens but if i give u bookish one so, Archimedes ia termed as the father of maths
