Why it will be difficult to prepare a time table for trains which cross several longitudes and why there is a need to have a standard time in India? Support your answer with suitable arguments.

Suppose there are two place - a and b.

Train takes 1 hour to go from a to b. And the local time difference between a and b is 30 minutes.

The train starts it's journey at 13.00 hrs, and after 1 hour journey it reaches there by 14.00 hrs. So the time for the travellers of the train will be 14.00 hours. But due to 30 minutes difference in longitude the time would be 30 minutes before of after. The time of the b place would be 14.30 hrs or 13.30 hrs. So a standard time is maintained.
