Why its difficut to drag two glass tables which are kept one on other and easy to drag one wood slap and glass slap one on other. What is the logic in this and what is the role of friction in it?

The friction between two glass tables is less. This is because the glass surface is smoother. So when we drag the lower glass table, the mounted table slips behind more easily.
In case of wooden tables, the friction between the two tables is very high. So when we drag one, the mounted table gets dragged along with it.
Friction is the force that enables the mounted table to move forward along with the table which we drag directly.
