Jammu and Kashmir has its own Constitution because when Jammu and Kashmir was being handed to India by the King of Jammu and Kashmir , he proposed that he'll hand Jammu and Kashmir to India on several terms and conditions and Jammu and Kashmir having its own Constitution is result of that proposal by King of Jammu and Kashmir.
