Pakshi Lakshaman Sastry was an high priest at Rameshwaran Temple and was the closest/childhood friend of APJ Abdul Kalam. Pakshi lakshmana sastry was the high priest of Rameshwaram temple. He was a close friend of APJ Abdul kalam's father,Jainulabdeen.
He has a big role in Kalams childhood so he mentioned his name in his autobiography "wings of fire"
