Kelvin is considered as best uniy because first of all it is the badic standard unit of temperature and conversions from this standard unit is universal.

Because it fully satisfies the Charles Isobaric graph.
Charles graph links Volume and the corresponding temperature of any particular gas(for ease, say ideal) at constant pressure(Isobaric), the Law indicates and regards both quantities as directly proportional, due to which the graph must be a straight line. But what if the temperature tends to 0°C? In accordance to this thought, the volume must vanish, which is not possible for a real thing. Thus in Absolute scale(Kelvin), 0 Kelvin = -273.16°C i.e the line passes through origin, perfect rectifying Jacques Charle's Law.
