As there is hot and wet climate. The hot climate reacts with our skin and makes it tan.

Kerela is a tropical area where it is not too cold or hot. The sunshine are so much that people tend to be dark.

Long back Indians were black. The Arabs then resided in India so we belive that the White skinned Kerela are belonging to the Arab nation. SO the ancestor of these people are meant to be Arabs. But natural Kerelan people are Dark skinned.
