why kerosene stoves and Bunsen burners have small holes in them think about the role of air in combustion?​

In absence of constant supply of oxygen, kerosene gives rise to yellow flame while the kerosene in stove burns with blue flame due to the constant supply of oxygen by the holes present in the wick of the stove.
