Anantapur is located in Andhra Pradesh. You will see many factories in India are located in South Indian states because :-

1) better connection to coast enables export and import of finished goods

2) favourable government policies promoting industrial growth

3) Large pool of skilled and educated worker who are willing to work at lower salaries

4) Moreover , associated factories such as Engine manufacturing facilities , Plastic industries , IT services , etc; are easily available in South India .

There are not many factories in North India because of poor infrastructure and uneasy access to ports.
