Kisa Gautami was one of the followers of Lord Buddha who was a young woman in her age and raised into a beautiful healthy family, at that time, was married to a important merchant who led trade related issues. This story revolves around her son who was too young being in your one year old, due to some circumstances and conditions he felt ill, unable to move and hopelessness was everywhere in his heart, died suddenly without a second call.

Seeing this unfortunately incident Kisa Gautami was pulled aback by a fields of shocks running through her face, as this was the last chance of bearing the despair of only child being dead and unable to revive she took her matter into her own hands to bring the only son back to life. Being unfit for the job, in a sympathetic way, she went home to home or house to house to collect some information or a way with which seems could have back her only son, after begging a lot of people she was so desperate that she was ineffectual in resuscitating her child.

A glimmer of hope had arisen when searching for a tool she met with a Buddhist who later advised her to meet lord Buddha himself.

Buddha with a lot of patience and solicitous concern listened carefully to her grievances. After the story was narrated to Lord Buddha he expressed just one simple thing,"Kisa Gautami, there is only one way to solve all your problems related to the loss of your child. Go and find me some four to five mustard seeds which belong to a family where death was inevitable".

Kisa Gautami, by listening this, filled up with a good-natured joy and searched for the household which does apply the benchmark of Lord Buddha sayings. Unfortunately, she never found one exact household containing a family member in a family, who has never suffered death. This made Kisa Gautami realised that death is a part of ones emotions and everyone has to suffer the same fate as being human beings, death is predestined for humans, till then one has to live with happiness with a touch of radiance in the whole ephemeral soul. Humans are mortal everyone dies in a particular point, this fact is applicable to every human being, also to Kisa Gautami. Don't depart from your soul, love and live with it, you are just a part of a cycle which is continously changing.

When Kisa Gotami’s son passes away, she goes from house to house asking for medicine that can cure her child. No, she does not get any medicine because her child was already dead and no medicine can have brought him back to life.
