They all cannot be bought or prepared in 100% purity, they are all in some way mixtures of the relevant molecule with a varying amount of water or are prone to absorb water from the air such as NaOH and KOH. Ammonium hydroxide, nitric acid, hydrochloric acid and sulphuric acid are in fact solutions of a volatile gas in water.
