Why labourers and farmers in villages should think of more than one occupation to support their families?​

the agricultural labourers are either landless or own very less land . Not only this reason but due to many other reasons like climatic disasters , or water scarcity , or low rate for the products at market and many other issues , they are unable to earn money through out the year , this forces them to search in other jobs too.
