Why larynx is called Adams apple?

The story was that the devil serpent tempted Eve to pick the forbidden fruit from the tree. She took a bite and swallowed that bite entirely. When Adam happened upon her, he asked her why she did it and offered the apple to him. Adam bit the fruit and, God came down upon them and caused the bit to stop in Adam’s throat. The swallowing mechanism caused the thyroid and larynx to remain in the forward jutted position and thus became Adam’s Apple.

The Larynx Is called the Adams apple because it is the larynx which adjust the vocal chords to stretch more (in boys) to create more space between them.Thus,the Adam apple is created.
