Leaves prepare food through photosynthesis since it has chlorophyll in it and so its called food factory.

We should take a leave cut a small section of it and then put some drops of iodine on it after sometime you will notice blue black colour on leaf that presence of colour indicates the presence of starch.

Plants are called producers since they prepare food via photosynthesis and are the only living organism to provide food to everyone.
