Leaves falls down because when we sake the tree vigorously their is some contact point present in that and after shaking that point broke and after broking then gravity acts on the leaves and leaves falls down

Initially both the tree & the leaves hanging to its branches are in a state of rest.
When the branches of the tree are shaken, it is set into motion while the leaves remain in the state of rest due to inertia of rest.
Thus, the leaves get detached from the branches & fall down due to the pull of gravity.
