why leaves fall down when we shake the tree?

because the stem of leaves are weak and the second reason is the dry are also not so strong

The reason is that the stem of the tree are shaken, they come in motion, while the leaves due to inertia, remain in state of rest. This the massive and weakly attached leaves get detached from the branches and fall down due to gravity.
