LED - Light emitting diodes are becoming so popular because of their less effect on environment.
They are safe for environment, but bulbs were not.
Just like CNG is good but diesel is not.
They also does not heat up.
Their outside covers are safe.
Govt gives subsidies to LED makers, so we can get it cheaply.
It was discovered way back in 1962, but took time to come in use.
