Lemon pickle is acidic in nature.When lemon pickle is kept in aluminium vessel, the acid in it reacts with aluminiumand slowly forms toxic salts.These toxic salts can damage our health.So, lemon pickles are not stored in aluminium utensils.

lemon pickle cannot stored in aluminium utensils because lemon pickle contain acids which can react with aluminium metal liberating hydrogen gas . this can lead to the spoiling of the pickle .
