LiCl is an ionic compound, which is ionic bonds which are stronger than any type of intermolecular forces. Therefore, LiCl has a higher boiling point than HCl.

LiCl has higher boiling point than HCl because:

1. LiCl is an ionic compound and HCl is covalent compound.

2. According to chemistry, in general ionic compounds have strong electronic force of attraction and are held by ionic bonds whereas covalent compounds are held by weak covalent bonds.

3. Though HCl in liquid form shows hydrogen bonding, it's not as strong as electronic force of attraction in ionic bonds.
