why liCl is soluble in alcohol but not Nacl

Generally when we talk about an ionic or a covalent compound we think that ionic compound is 100% ionic and covalent compound is 100% covalent.
Is not we?
But actual/practical thing is something else.
An ionic compound is ionic because it has more ionic character but not all 100% ionic character, some covalent character too exists in small portions.Same in case of covalent compound.
So as we know both NaCl and LiCl are ionic but the covalent character is more in LiCl then NaCl.And it is sufficient for solubility.
As we know from solution chemistry that 'Like dissolves like',alcohol is too covalent and non polar and for more covalent character of LiCl then NaCl it dissolves in alcohol.
Thanks.
