In the context of nutrition , a mineral is a chemical element required as an essential. nutrient by organisms to perform functions necessary for life. Minerals exist on earth and cannot be made by human beings. They come from eating food and drinking water. For Example:

Vitamins is a mineral and it fights against diseases. If it will not be there then our body will be full of diseases.
