according to Einstein's theory of relativity, any object that possess high gravity bends light. The event horizon of black hole catches light and bends it.This is called gravitational lensing

Answer:

Explanation:

the gravitational force of the black hole is strong enough that even light cannot it, this happens when matter (or light) crosses the Schwarzschild radius (the point of no return).

light coming from a black hole generally appears distorted due its large gravitational pull.
