why like (same) poles of magnets repel but alike (different) poles attract.​

Answer:

this is because like poles of a magnet have same charge on it as a result they repel each other but on the other hand unlike poles contain opposite charge therefore unlike poles attract each othe. Hope you will be helped by my answer
