Why liquids do not have definite shape although they have definite volume?

Liquids have definite volume, due to this, they <b>can't expand</b> like gas do. Gas completely occupy the container because gas doesn't have definite volume. Liquids can't expand, so they take the shape of the container.

➡️There molecular arrangement are different from solids. So they have a definite volume and not a definite volume.. There molecules are not as closely packed..
