Liquor Ammonia or  NH4OH  is a basic compound. And it evaporates at like 24.7°C, that is below our dear room temperature. So unless you want it to fizz and spread, you better open it carefully after cooling. And having smelt it at a distance to close, I don’t think you(or your lab mates) will appreciate it's reek.
