Biochemical reactions are types of chemical reactions or processes that occur in organisms. These can only occur in those that are living

Equilibrium condition is when the inter environment is in par with the external environment. It means, the usual events that occur to maintain homeostasis (regularity in body conditions like temperature, osmotic concentration etc) doesn’t happen. If homeostatis is disturbed then the body will fail to function and thus will die.

This is the reason why the living cells maintain their biochemical reactions in a dynamic state.
