Why lizard disappears on seeing peacock feather?

Peacock is a omnivorous like human, can eat both plant and animal origin.

 

Eating list of peacock
Worms, bugs, lizards, corn, pulses in farms

And its a nature of prey to fear a predator.

So basically when you keep peacock feathers in your home, lizards think that they've entered in its territory. And they stay away from the zone of risk which will lead to death.
