Normally, Lizards are the “cold-blooded,” and they are called as the ectothermic poikilotherms. Skin of the Lizards is rough so it withstands the same temperature as air.

When the temperature gets quite cold then there is no way to warm up and it will not freeze to death.

One of the best option for the lizards is to stay at least a little above freezing.
