Why LPG is used in stove for cooking and why CNG is not used in stove for cooking???
Answers
Answer:
You can get more stored energy in a cylinder with liquid LPG than you can with compressed methane (CNG). With CNG, you would need to replace the cylinders much more often, and they would be heavier because of the higher pressure requirements. ... This is why buses us it, filling at a central bus terminal, but cars use LPG
Explanation:
For cooking food in normal home stoves we require pressure around 21 mbar. And this is much lower than atmospheric pressure so you will have to use pressure regulator before stove to decrease the pressure to 21 mbar. While CNG is used mostly on vehicles which has pressure between 200 to 250 bar.

CNG means Compressed Natural Gas. And the gas we use in our house is PNG piped Natural Gas. It is widely used in all over the world even in India. we don't need to compress the natural gas even we have to decrease the pressure for cooking around 21 bar .While CNG is used mostly in vehciles which has pressure between 200 to 250 bar.
