LYSOSOMES ARE CALLED AS NATURAL SCAVENGERS BCOZ THEY CONTAIN DESTRUCTIVE ENZYMES WHICH ARE PRODUCED BY THE ORGANELLE ENDOPLASMIC RETICULUM.AND THESE ENZYMES WILL BE DIGESTING THE ORGANELLES WHICH ARE IN ACTIVE OR WHICH ARE VERY POORLY WORKING ORGANELLES. SO THAT NEW ORGANELLES ARE FORMED/REPRODUCED.SO THEY'LL BE CLEARING THE DEBRIS OF THE CELL...THUS THEY ARE CALLED NATURAL SCAVENGERS.

I HOPE THIS HELPS U.

Explanation:

a. Lysosome helps in cleaning up the cell by digesting damaged materials of the cell. Hence, they are called cellular scavengers.

b. Lysosomes are also called suicidal bags as enzymes contained in them can digest the cell’s own material when damaged or dead.

hopefully it will work ☺️☺️
