when cell gets damaged, lysosome may burst and the enzymes digest their own cell. Therefore lysosomes are known as the Suicidal bags of a cell or we can say that they posses different kind of hydrolases on release of these enzymes that cause death of cell.

Lysosomes contain digestive enzymes to digest worn-out cell organelles, bacteria, viruses, food particles etc. But under conditions of starvation, they start digesting the other organelles in the cell which aren't worn out. They are capable of destroying the cell they live in and are hence called the suicidal bags of the cell.
