why lysosomes are called suicide bags ?​

during the disturbance in cellular metabolism ex: the cell gets damaged , the lysosomes may burst and the powerful digestive hydrolytic enzymes digest the cell itself sometimes.

this is why they're called the 'suicidal bags' of  cell.

✔✔It is called so because,if the cell is not functioning properly,the lysosome produce an enzyme that kill it's cell ,hence it called so.As like if we kill ourself, it called suicide, the same to the lysosome of the cell.
