Lysosomes are membrane-enclosed organelles that contain an array of enzymes capable of breaking down all types of biological polymers. One of its functions is to digest materials taken up from outside the cell. That process is called endocytosis. That's why it iscalled the SUICIDAL BAG of the cell.

Hi friend,
Lysosomes are waste disposal of cells as they helps cleaning the cell by digesting foreign bodies( bacteria, etc) and worn out cells organnels. They are able to do so as they have special digestive enzymes that are capable of breaking down all organic material.
Whenever there is a disturbance in the cellular metabolism, like when the cell gets damaged the lysosomes themselves bursts and the enzymes digest their own cell. That's why they are called suicidal bags of cell.
Hope it helps :)
