The melting points get lower as you go down the Group because the metallic bonds get weaker. The oddity ofmagnesium has to be explained separately. The atoms in a metal are held together by the attraction of the nuclei to the delocalised electrons. Hope it helps you pls mark it as brainliest

Manganese has lower Melting and boiling point ;
# Because of the following reasons :--
- With decrease in unpaired or vacant electrons or orbitals, Melting and Boiling point also decreases .
- Thus, there is weak mettalic bonding further due to less unpaired electrons .
- It reduces Enthalpy of Atomization value .
