As you see the table below magnesium has an electronegativity of 1.3 and zinc has an electronegativity of 1.7 where aluminum has an electronegativity of 1.6, the lower the electronegativity the more easily an atom loses electron that's why magnesium is more reactive than zinc and aluminum, but magnesium is not the most
