why magnetic field lines are closed curves?

Because there are no magnetic charges (monopoles). Electric field lines end on electric charges. Magnetic field lines have no objects on which they could end, so they must form loops.

1) Magnetic field lines are closed curves because
it can be practically observed by performing the compass experiment.If we put a compass beside a magnet and regularly change its positions and the magnetic needles of compass will deflects in such a way that it forms a closed loop.Therefore,magnetic field lines starts from North to South outside the magnet and do not ends in south poles and continues to be moves from South to North inside the magnet.2) Also the magnetic field lines are closed curves because the magnetic field lines never intersect each other and are parallel to each other. 3) Also the circular loops of the magnetic field enables it to have a stable
magnetic field and it also allows to have a strong magnetic field.
