why magnetising an iron nail is a physical change

because iron gets magnetised for only a particular period of time. the change is reversible too. As the change is reversible and no chemical reaction is taking place, this is a physical change

If a chemical change is to occur,
a new substance is formed
energy and heat is given out
mass of the substance s alter



As their is no occurrence of the following in a magnetising a iron nail iit is said to be a physical change
